My name is Gemma, I’m a mum of two. I started my B’tec level 2 in fashion and design in 2010, I fell in love with sewing when I was young. My grandma would let me help her sew my dance costumes and I was amazed by how she could turn bits of flat material into something 3D. I enjoy watching how my designs would go from designs on paper to actual garments that I could wear myself.
I started making dresses for my girls as they both love to play dress up, but the dress up clothes would easily get ripped and damaged. I hated taking my girls out in their costumes so i decided to make princess dresses suitable for everyday wear. i love seeing my girl’s faces light up when they get a new dress.
